How the ranking works

A weighted composite over metrics grouped by provenance. Half the weight sits on figures venues report about themselves; the other half on what Predxy measures or derives by comparing venues, which a venue cannot influence.

Each metric is converted to its percentile among the venues that reported it, then weighted. Percentile rather than min-max, so one outsized venue does not flatten the rest of the board. A metric a venue does not report is excluded from its score rather than counted as zero, and the shortfall is published as 'coverage'.
