Resolution rules

If the winning margin in 2026 Mexico City Grand Prix, originally scheduled for November 1, 2026 is between 5.000 and 9.999 seconds, inclusive, then the market resolves to Yes. The winning margin is the gap between first and second in the FIA's Final Race Classification, including penalties and disqualifications reflected in that classification. Live timing and the on-track gap do not override it. The first final classification governs later steward decisions; reviews and appeals do not change that reference classification. The team selection is Any: this market uses the winner's margin regardless of team. The second-placed driver can be a teammate of the winner. The four ranges are below 2.500 seconds; 2.500 through 4.999 seconds, inclusive; 5.000 through 9.999 seconds, inclusive; and at least 10.000 seconds. The bounds use the contract's 0.001-second increments. Use the FIA's published gap without rounding. A gap of exactly 2.500, 5.000 or 10.000 seconds belongs to the range starting at that value. If second place is one or more laps behind, or the winner is the only classified driver, the margin is deemed greater than every threshold: the at-least-10.000-seconds market resolves Yes and the other three resolve No. A dead heat for first gives a margin of 0.000 seconds and falls in the below-2.500-seconds range. If the race begins within 48 hours of its originally scheduled start, the market follows that race. Cancellation or failure to start within 48 hours resolves at the last fair price under the contract. For a suspended race, the FIA's Final Race Classification governs. If no winner is classified, no championship points are awarded, or no underlying data is available by expiration, the applicable last-fair-price provisions apply.
