Resolution rules

If Cleveland wins the Pro Basketball game between Cleveland and Milwaukee originally scheduled for October 31, 2026 at 8:00 PM ET, this market will resolve to Yes. Otherwise, it will resolve to No. The Underlying is the official result of the specified sporting event. Source Agencies, in order, are the league governing body, ESPN, Fox Sports, and the broadcast partner of the event. If the Expiration Value cannot be determined on the Expiration Date (including because the event is cancelled or a team forfeits, withdraws, or is disqualified), the Exchange may determine payouts pursuant to the Market Outcome Review Process. Comparable, not identical. Kalshi settles on the official final result and gives a fair-price resolution if the game is cancelled or not started within 48 hours of the original start; Gemini uses official-result sources and a review process if the expiration value cannot be determined. The criteria differ only in settlement mechanics, not in the underlying question.
