Resolution rules
If the number of statewide races won by Democratic Party nominees in Texas is at least 8 at the November 3, 2026 general election, then the market resolves to Yes. The 18 races counted are: U.S. Senator; Governor; Lieutenant Governor; Attorney General; Comptroller of Public Accounts; Commissioner, General Land Office; Commissioner, Agriculture; Railroad Commissioner; Chief Justice, Supreme Court; Justice, Supreme Court, Place 2 (unexpired term); Justice, Supreme Court, Place 7; Justice, Supreme Court, Place 8; Judge, Court of Criminal Appeals, Place 3; Judge, Court of Criminal Appeals, Place 4; Judge, Court of Criminal Appeals, Place 9; Chief Justice, Fifteenth Court of Appeals; Justice, Fifteenth Court of Appeals, Place 2; and Justice, Fifteenth Court of Appeals, Place 3.
