Resolution rules

This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed company announces that it will file for bankruptcy or has filed for bankruptcy of any variety by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. An announcement will suffice for a "Yes" resolution, regardless of whether or not the actual filing occurs. The announcement must be made through any of their official or verified channels, including a recorded or written statement by their CEO, legal representation, or any other individual or team that officially represents the company. A definitive consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

    The bankruptcy math for Beyond Meat doesn't work for a 2026 filing for a number of reasons: - $205.8M cash as of March 28, plus a $100M facility. - Q1 cash burn was only $11.8M (even at the worse 2025 rate of ~$36M/quarter, they end 2026 with $90M+). - The $1.1B 2027 convert wall is GONE as it was exchanged in Oct 2025 for 2030 notes, and interest can be paid in kind (no cash coupon pressure). - No debt maturities until 2030. - Noteholders converted another $62.6M into equity after Q1, i.e. creditors are choosing stock over their senior claim. You don't do that if you expect a filing in months.
