Both conditions must occur: Lionel Messi must be officially credited with the first non-own goal of the match, and Argentina must win the match. The first qualifying goal is the first non-own goal scored by either team, including regulation, stoppage time and any extra time. Penalty-shootout attempts are not recorded match goals. The winning team is determined by the official match result, including any officially recognized tiebreaking procedure.
