Resolution rules
If the difference between Amy Acton's margin in the Ohio governor election and Sherrod Brown's margin in the Ohio U.S. Senate special election is between 6 and 8.995 as measured in the November 3, 2026 general election, then the market resolves to Yes. Each candidate's margin is that candidate's percentage of total votes cast in their race minus the percentage received by the highest-finishing other candidate in that race, calculated from the certified results. A margin is negative if the candidate does not finish first. Total votes cast include write-in votes reported in the certified results. The difference is Amy Acton's margin minus Sherrod Brown's margin: Acton ranges cover differences of 0.00 or more and Brown ranges cover negative differences. Because the difference is rounded to two decimal places, the ranges cover every possible result; a difference of exactly 0.00 falls in Acton by 0-3, and a lead of exactly 3, 6 or 9 points for either candidate falls in the higher range.
