Resolution rules
If the year-over-year percentage change in U.S. electricity prices for September 2026 is above 2.5%, then the market resolves to Yes. “Year-over-year percentage change in U.S. electricity prices” means the unadjusted 12-month percent change for “Electricity” in the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U), U.S. city average, as published by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Resolution uses the percentage change published in the first BLS CPI release reporting September 2026 data, at its published precision. The value will not be recalculated from index levels. Subsequent revisions will not affect resolution.
