If Steve Apostolopoulos and/or Marc Lasry successfully completes the purchase of the Las Vegas NBA expansion franchise after Issuance and before January 1, 2028, the market resolves to Yes. Note: Joint bids could produce multiple Yes outcomes for the purposes of this market. The buyer must be the controlling owner in completed legal ownership documents, receive formal league approval, complete the financial transaction as primary purchaser, and assume operational control and final decision-making authority. Selection as winning or preferred bidder, an agreement in principle, or a minority investment without operational control is insufficient. The filed rules for ownership groups, lead investors, managing partners, merged bids, and controlled holding companies apply. If no listed buyer completes acquisition before the deadline, all listed buyer markets resolve No. Each buyer is evaluated independently; the contract does not guarantee exactly one Yes across all possible ownership changes.
