Resolution rules
If the seasonally adjusted number of total nonfarm job openings in the United States for September 2026 is above 7.40M, then the market resolves to Yes. The Underlying is the seasonally adjusted number of total nonfarm job openings for September 2026, as reported in the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey (JOLTS) scheduled for release on Nov 3, 2026. Job openings are measured on the last business day of the reference month and are reported by BLS in thousands. For purposes of this market, values expressed in millions will be converted directly from the BLS-reported value in thousands. For example, a reported value of 7,350 thousand is equivalent to 7.350 million.
