Resolution rules

If RIDEM reports Rhode Island’s commercial quahog landings for 2026 is above 310,000 meat pounds, then the market resolves to Yes. Resolution will use the QUAHOG landings figure in RIDEM’s Annual Fisheries Report: 2026. “Quahog” refers to the bay/northern quahog (Mercenaria mercenaria), also called the hard clam, and does not include ocean quahogs. RIDEM reports quahog volume in meat pounds. Subsequent revisions will not affect resolution.
