Resolution rules

If the League City proposition to continue using Flock cameras passes, then the market resolves to Yes. This market may resolve early once a consensus of designated media sources has declared a result. See full rules for details. The proposition as it appears on the ballot reads: "As a non-binding statement of voter preference, should the League City Police Department continue using automated license plate reader cameras at fixed locations on public roadways for law enforcement purposes?" A majority voting Yes, in favour of continuing to use the cameras, is the Yes outcome. A majority voting No is the No outcome. The referendum is non-binding. The League City City Council keeps full authority over the police department's use of the cameras whatever the result, and this market settles only on the certified vote count, not on any council decision that follows it.
