Will the Las Vegas NBA franchise and arena price be less than $11B?

This market will resolve according to the combined price of the NBA's Las Vegas expansion franchise and a new arena for the team. The combined price is the total for the franchise and a new arena under the selected ownership group's deal, as announced by the NBA or reported by a consensus of credible reporting. If the franchise price and the arena cost are reported separately, the two figures will be added together, but a combined figure for the franchise and the arena, when reported, will take precedence over that sum. An arena cost reported only as part of a larger real estate or development figure will be treated as not reported, and a combined figure that also covers such development will not qualify. The first qualifying figure announced or reported at or after the first of these official NBA announcements will be used: that the league has selected an ownership group for a Las Vegas expansion franchise, or that its Board of Governors has approved an expansion franchise in Las Vegas. If only the franchise price is announced or reported, the arena cost will be included only if it, or a combined figure for the franchise and the arena, is announced or reported within 14 days after the franchise price is first announced or reported, and no later than December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. If no arena cost is announced or reported within that time, this market will resolve according to the franchise price alone. The first reported value of each part will be used. If credible reports conflict, the first figure on which a consensus of credible reporting forms will be used. Later revisions will not be considered. If no qualifying announcement is made, or no franchise price or combined price is announced or reported, by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "No price reported by December 31, 2026". Each range includes its lower bound and excludes its upper bound. For example, a price of exactly $12B will resolve to "$12B-$13B". "<$11B" covers any price below $11B, and "$14B+" covers any price of $14B or more. Figures will be used as announced or reported, without rounding. A figure reported as approximate, such as "about $12 billion", will be treated as that exact figure. A figure reported only as a range will be reduced to the midpoint of that range, including each part before the parts are added. A figure reported only as a minimum or maximum, such as "at least $12 billion", will not qualify. The primary resolution source will be official information from the NBA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
