If Trey Murphy III officially retires before Oct 21, 2026 or is not on any team on Oct 21, 2026, "Retires / No Team" resolves to Yes. If Trey Murphy III remains on the team they were on upon issuance on Oct 21, 2026, then the market for that team will resolve Yes. This event was issued before the June 30, 2026 amendment to the NEXTTEAM contract and is governed by the contract terms and event-specific rules applicable at issuance. For this event, extending or re-signing with the team the player was on at issuance does not, by itself, trigger early resolution, including re-signing after a period of restricted or unrestricted free agency. The amendment's provision treating such a free-agent signing as a resolution-triggering transaction does not apply. Any existing event-specific rules for remaining with a team at the stated deadline, retirement, or having no team continue to apply. Qualifying two-way contracts remain covered by the original terms.
