CNN barred from White House again by September 30?

On September 18, 2026, President Trump announced that CNN and two other media outlets were banned from the White House. On September 24, a federal court ordered the White House to reverse this ban. This market will resolve to "Yes" if, between market creation and the specified date, 11:59 PM ET, CNN is denied entry to the White House. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". CNN will be considered to have been denied entry to the White House if CNN employees are either denied entry on behalf of their outlet affiliation, or if CNN declines to enter due to a ban on their access to the White House going into effect. The following do not qualify: a statement that a ban may or might be reinstated; reiteration of the previous ban without meeting the conditions listed above; an appeal of a relevant court order; discussions or negotiations about reinstating a ban; or third-party speculation or reporting about a potential reinstatement of a ban. Once CNN has been denied entry, this market will resolve to "Yes" regardless of whether access is subsequently reinstated. The primary resolution sources will be official information from the White House and CNN, official court records in any related litigation, and a consensus of credible reporting.
