Will the Kennedy Center Board vote to demolish the Kennedy Center in 2026?: Will a vote in 2026 by the Kennedy Center Board of Trustees approving demolition of the Kennedy Center's main building be confirmed before Jan 1, 2027?

If a vote in 2026 by the Kennedy Center Board of Trustees approving demolition of the Kennedy Center's main building is confirmed by any of the Source Agencies after Issuance and before Jan 1, 2027, then the market resolves to Yes. This must be confirmed, verified, or established as factual by at least one Source Agency. News confirmation is defined as a published article, broadcast segment, or official news report by a Source Agency, that A) explicitly states the vote occurred, B) based on journalistic investigation, sources, or evidence, and C) presented as factual reporting rather than speculation, rumor, or unverified allegation. The qualifying event is a formal vote or resolution by the Kennedy Center Board of Trustees expressly approving demolition or razing of the Kennedy Center's main building. A vote to close or renovate without demolition approval does not qualify. Statements that demolition is threatened or under consideration alone do not qualify.
