Los Angeles L next governor before Jan 1, 2027?: Mark Walter to be the next governor of Los Angeles L before Jan 1, 2027

If Mark Walter formally holds the position of team governor before Jan 1, 2027, and is the first such subject to do so after Issuance, then the market resolves to Yes. The holder of the position at the time of Issuance is excluded. If no new team governor formally holds the position or if the current team governor retains the position by Jan 1, 2027, then all markets resolve to No. If a person formally holds the position of alternate governor (and not primary team governor), that does not satisfy the Payout Criterion. For the purposes of this Contract, only a person who holds the Los Angeles L team governor position in a permanent, confirmed, elected, or otherwise non-acting and non-temporary capacity—as formally designated by the Los Angeles L Pro Basketball team—is treated as formally holding the position; assumption of the role solely in an acting, interim, transitional, provisional, caretaker, pro tempore, or otherwise temporary capacity does not, by itself, satisfy the Payout Criterion.
